Shawna McCully, Owner

Shawna McCully, the proud owner of Eclectic Salon, is a Lafayette, Indiana native. Her parents and grandparents were also native to the Lafayette area, so her roots go pretty deep! Shawna's favorite thing about the Lafayette/West Lafayette area is the history the community shares. Each side of town is similar, yet unique, with its own history.

Shawna's career started in 1992 in a well-established salon in the Chauncey Village area. Eventually, though, she wanted to realize her own vision of a salon and in 1999, Eclectic Hair Salon opened in an historic building that matched Shawna's own design aesthetic.

Now, years later, Shawna still loves every aspect of hair. She takes joy in changing a person's appearance in a matter of moments. Hair, to her, is an artistic and creative expression of individuality.

Shawna's favorite haircut is the classic bob - it's timeless, and so many modern hairstyles have been built with the bob as their foundation.

Alexa Stingley

Alexa Stingley of Lafayette has been doing hair for two years. She is currently a management student at Purdue University, also working as a stylist at Eclectic Hair Salon. Her favorite styles to do are hair cuts, colors, and up-dos, especially cuts and colors that totally transform a person!

Whitney Bell

Whitney Bell of Lafayette has been a stylist for five years, and has been at Eclectic for four of them. She became a stylist because she needed a job to get through college and stayed because she loves her clients! Whitney's favorite style is long hair with TONS of layers that give lots of texture and movement. Her specialties are hair styling and high-lighting.

Whitney's tip: Healthy hair starts on the inside so drink water water water! Also, in order for your hair to grow, you have to cut it!

Sarah Faiola

Sarah Faiola of Lafayette has been at Eclectic Hair Salon for two years. She enjoys styling hair with a lot of layers and side swept bangs, similar to her own hair style. Her favorite style to do are highlights.

Sarah's tip: Products can do wonders for your hair. Find a great product to use before you blow dry and one to use for styling after blowdrying. You can have so much fun and versatility with products!

Allbanee Flora

Allbanee Flora is from the Delphi, IN area. She graduated from Lafayette Beauty Academy in June 2012. She has been apart of Eclectic for 2 months and has always loved styling hair. Her favorite services are color/foil, cutting, and styling updos. Allbanee loves change and helping everyone decide what they want and how to achieve it. Making people feel good about themselves always makes her day! 

Kate Klinger 

Kate Klinger of Lafayette has been doing hair for about a year now and is the newest to Eclectic Hair Salon. Hair has always been a passion of Kate's since she was a little girl. Her favorite styles are cutting hair and adding layers to give more body and movement, coloring and highlighting hair, and creating drastic changes that truly enhance one's appearance. This lets their inner beauty shine from the inside out!
